We all have our dreams.
Run over by the wheel of misfortune,
Squeezed by the thumbscrews of conformity,
Stretched on the rack of religion,
Skewered by the blunt lance of self censorship,
Burnt by the coals of higher education,
Devoured by the tumor of technology,
Seared by the corrupt breath of politics,
Served up on the platter of social injustice,
Sucked in by the illusions of the media,
Crunched in the jaws of corporate greed.
We all have broken dreams.
